Dangal is an inspirational true story based on the life of Mahvir Singh and his two daughters, Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat. The movie traces the journey of a father and his daughters to become world class wrestler. Mahvir Singh (Aamir Khan) was a national level champion who couldn’t win gold medal for country due to some personal reason. Then he trained her daughter and fulfills his wish by making his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat win medals at commonwealth. The story of movie is very strong and inspirational for youths. 

Let’s talk about acting! The Aamir khan is perfect as usual. He again proves why he is called Mr. Perfectionist. His body looks great in 1st half of movie. He deserves appreciation. Along with him, the acting of Fatima Shaikh (Geeta) and Sanya Malhotra (Babita) is beyond perfection. They have a great impact on movie. They are perfect at acting scene as well as emotional scene. Their acting made us cry at emotional moments of the film. The young version of Geeta and Babita shows so much dedication towards their work. The supporting artist too wins our hearts. The credit of their acting goes to Nitesh Tiwari.

Overall Dangal is a full package of entertainment, emotion and hard work. All wrestling scenes are pictured brilliantly.

Movie Reviews for new movie releases

I am reviews two movies in this post. This first one is Gangs of Wasseypur and lets start talking about it straight away. This is movie for the fans of Anurag Kashyap. Those who have like other movies from Anurag like Gulaal , Dev D, Black Friday, That Girl in Yellow Boots etc will love Gangs of Wasseypur as well. For this movie actors how are known for their acting prowess are casted and names include Manoj Bajpai, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Tigmanshu Dhulia.

The story revolves around Dhanbad who is famous for coal mines and interestingly the movie is also about coal mafia. However the movie was shot actually at Dhanbad rather another famous city Varanasi was chosen as shooting location.

Movie was premiered at Cannes Film festival and got very good reviews there. However in India movie has been given “A” certificated by the censor board.  Movie will release on Friday the 22-June-2012 and I am sure will get good response from the audience.

Gangs of Wasseypur like all other previous movies by Anurag Kashyap is away from mainstream bollywood movies but definitely Anurag has his own audience who waits eagerly for his movies.  You can check IMDB page for the movie it  has got a rating of 9.2/10 from more than 200 reviews; this is definitely a signal that you must go and watch the movie.

That was all about Gangs of Wasseypur, let discuss another new release movie.  Ferrari Ki Sawaari release with not much expectations from the audience and those associated with the movie as well. It is a movie one can afford to watch and at the same time afford to miss as well.  With Sharman Joshi, Boman Irani, Ritvik Sahore I the lead roles all these represents three generation of a famiy with Boman as Grandfather, Sharman Joshi the father and cure Ritvik as the youngest and cutest member.  I can leave the decision on the reader about this movie; they can go and watch the movie now or wait for some months to watch it on TV or DVD.

Shanghai movie review and wallpapers

Directed by Dibakar Banerjee, shanghai is a great political thriller movie. Star cast of the movie is perfect, thus you get flawless acting performance from all the characters.  This is equally supported by great work behind the camera. Director has presented the dirty face on Indian politics fearlessly and movie hits hard to the political system in India.

Movie has got god reviews from the critics and some even saying that Emran Hashmi has given the best performance ever by him since his debut movie.  Abhay Deol once again delivers the best of his performance and proves once again that give him any role and he will provide a realistic performance.

Shanghai is definitely a movie not t be missed. Go watch the move and I can assure you will come out of the multiples or theater satisfied.

Music of the move is average and goes well as movie proceeds.  One thing you‘ll find hard to believe that the movie is inspired from a novel about real life killing in Greece. All the credit goes to the director and the writer Urmi Juvekar who had presented it in a way that makes it completely Indian.

Agneepath movie review – Will is succeed like previous Agneepath

Remaking the hits and blockbusters movies of the past is now a trend in bollywood. It started with Don and then others followed the trend. Some Movies like Don, Om Shanti Om got success but some like Ramgopal Verma ki aag, Karz flopped badly.

This Friday another remake movie called Agneepath will release. Agneepath is remake of a super hit and classic movie with the same name that was released in 1990. The original movie was directed by Mukul S. Anand and produced by Yash Johar. The new movie is produces by his son Karan Johar. Let us see if the son-producer will get the same success and Dad-Producer making the same movie.

Co-incidentally the director’s name is also Karan. This the the first movie as a director for Karan Malhotra. It’d be interesting to see how Hrithik Roshan who is playing male lead in the movie will do justice with the iconic role of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan.

But one thing I am more interesting to watch is Sanjay Dutt playing the tole of Kancha Cheena. In the original movie the same role was played by Danny, a famous villain of the Indian film industry. His looks are great in the movie and the initial traliors remind me of the Sanjay Dutt I’ve seen in the bollywood hit Khalnayak. In Khalnayak Sanjay Dutt also played a negative character, which was widely appreciated. Historically it has been seen that whenever Sanjya Dutt played a negative role the movie has been a record hit, lets see if Agneepath goes by the past trend or not.

One thing I really didn’t like about the new Agneepath is that the character that was played by Mithun Chakraborty has been completely removed from the story. Interestingly Mithun won film-fare award for that role. The new Agneepath have one more negative character added to the story and its being played by Rishi Kapoor.

New Bollywood Movie Releases - Upcoming Mpvies

September to December is normally a time for big releases in Bollywood. Filmmakers normally has a schedule for the movie releases like Aamir Khan is known to release his movies in Christmas of new Year, Rohit Shetty is famous for diwali releases apart from his flying car scenes in the movies. Deols normally release the movies around Baishaki. Slaman Khan has his home productions being released on the occasion of Eid.

This season is also set for new big budget and heavy star-cast movies to be released in new few weeks. Here is few pics from the movies:

Rang Rasiya - This is a movie based on the life in life of the 19th century Indian painter and his girl friend. Randeep Hooda and Nandena Sen plays the lead roles in the movie.


Force: Here we can see John Abraham back in action movies. John look great in the movie stills and I hope the movie will do well. Release date in September 30th.


Rascals - Once again king of comedy David Dhawan is back. This time there is no Govinda in the movie. In this movie Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgun fight each other for Kangana Ranaut.


Ra-One or Ra-1 -This movie is a sc-fi or action hero movie by Shah Rukh Khan and is set to repeat the success of Action hero movie Krish. I am not a big fan of SRK so I am preassuming that movie will flop.

Ek tha tiger: Once again Salman and Katrina will be together in the movie so goin by the stats this movie can be a semi hit.

Now Showing BoodyGuard Hindi Movie - Bodyguard Music

Bodyguard movie is being released after a couple of day on the occasion of EID (31-Aug-2011). The Movie is being directed by Siddique is its the remake of his own Malayalam film with same title. Interestingly the movie has been remade in Tamil as well with the title Kaavalan.

Movie is a romantic action thriller and so far as reaction of audience to the promos is concerned the Movies seem to be being a mega hit of 2011. It seems to be another milestone movie in the career of actor Salman Khan after the success of Wanted and Dabang.

Some facts about movie - this is the third time Salman and Kareena are working together. Last two times they worked together movies have been badly flopped. hope thing will turn this time.

This is the third remake of the original movie.

Apart from the Malayalam, Tamil and the Hindi version the movie is also being made in Telugu.

Parts of the movie has been shot at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management in Pune, Patiala and film city Mumbai.

Ajay Devgn or Salman Khan
